The finished lasagne


You Will Need
32 x 21cms Baking Dish
Large non-stick Frying Pan
Pasta Machine (if making fresh pasta)

This is a basic take on the lasagne recipe, but it uses home made basic pasta dough, using a pasta machine, cheese sauce and bolognese.

You could use dried pasta sheets if you prefer, some come pre-cooked so you can just assemble them directly into layers in the dish, just be aware that they may take up more of the liquid from the sauces, so adjust the liquid accordingly.

This uses my  basic bolognese , which also makes a great basic spaghetti bolognese.

Try using Kitchen scissors to trim your lasagne sheets to the correct shape for the dish, its easier than trying to do it one handed with a knife.
