I can´t tell you where this recipe came from, I only know I have been using it for years and it always works for me.
This basic pasta dough recipe is for a Pasta Machine, although you could do it by hand if you do not have on. If so you would need to be able to roll the pasta dough out until its really thin. If you do have a pasta machine you have several thickness settings, so you can get the pasta dough to the thickness you need for the recipe.
I use this in my lasagne recipe and in my Grandson´s favourite, pesto pasta when I use the tagliatelle setting.
